The crew continues to give out tickets to see Rodney Carrington in January before they go on sale at the box office on Halloween.
The Rocktober giveaway to see AC/DC in Toronto as well as that great gig at the Peak will be up for grabs on Friday at 7:20am. You only have two more days to get qualified. Don't be caller #6 man!!
Nat had the top 5 jobs that will expose you to the most germs: #5: a police officer; #4: an animal control officer, #3: a janitor or plumber, #2: a sanitation worker and #1 was a meat packer!!
This weekend, there will be plenty of Halloween parties around town and the Rocket Crew will be having a "spooktacular" time at the Cell Block...and don't forget the costume contest with big bucks for great getups!
It's the five tips for meeting someone at a Halloween gig: 1. use your costume to get noticed! 2. role play! 3. bring candy! 4. go with a group! 5. ask about one's Halloween past! Calls came in about scoring on Halloween. Use these tidbits to get more than just tricks...but treats as well.
Comedian Drew Hasings was on the show and talked up his new CD & DVD called "Irked and Miffed." Funny bits on farming, deer hunting with his cat and his choice of drug use. The crew loved the story about his trucking business which ended up screwing him in the end. He also discussed his "shredding business" which has left him with a warehouse full of papers!!
On Hump Day the crew will be broadcasting live from one of the legendary rock-n-roll bars in town. It's Sherlock's and the ghostbusters will have all their spooky equipment set up to see if the stories are true...are the mannequins coming to life? Is there intoxicated goblins being seen when the bar shuts down? Yet another "spooktacular" show on the Rocket!!
